INDIANAPOLIS -- Gil Brandt has some advice for the Browns if they decide to pass on Notre Dame quarterback Brady Quinn in the first round of the draft April 28 to take Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson, or another player.
''They could finish last (in 2007) and get Brian Brohm next year,'' said Brandt, the former Cowboys executive and now the draft guru for NFL.com.
Brian Brohm is the Louisville quarterback who was projected as a top 20 pick, had he chosen to enter the draft this year. Instead, he opted to return to Louisville for his senior season. He has already been projected as the top pick in the 2008 draft.
