Heisman hopefuls for 2007 season

Preview magazines hit the newsstands last week, which can only mean one thing: The 2007 college football season is around the corner.

The early consensus has a match-up of the national title game that never was, LSU and USC. Back in 2003 both teams split the national championship with USC taking the final AP poll while LSU had the top spot in the coaches poll. A controversial finish to yet another season capped off by the flawed BCS system.
