University of Louisville quarterback Brian Brohm has signed with the California-based sports agency Athletes First.

CEO David Dunn's firm represents current NFL quarterbacks Carson Palmer, Matt Hasselbeck, Matt Schaub and Derek Anderson.

Dunn also represents former U of L quarterbacks Dave Ragone and Chris Redman.

"We feel like he's the top quarterback agent in the country," said Oscar Brohm, Brian Brohm's father. "He has a history of representing major quarterbacks like Drew Bledsoe and Steve Young. With him, we get great experience.

"We talked to a lot of different people, and we thought he was the tops."

Brian Brohm will probably travel to Athletes First's training facility in Irvine, Calif., before and after Christmas to prepare for his NFL workouts, his father said. He is scheduled to play in the Senior Bowl on Jan. 26.
